[Scrum Screw-ups and Omissions for Podcast XI]
It’s time to play the music
It’s time to light the lights
It’s time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight….
*Enter Statler [Swatter] and Waldorf [DJ] in to the balcony*
A couple things to clean up here lads…
Both of those signs were pretty hilarious, but for the best sign on record we have to go with one aimed at Blue Jays pitcher, David Wells, and read, “Wells, next time get a regular coke and diet pizza.”
Actually only 5 movies in the Air Bud Series not 7. Air Bud, Golden Receiver, World Pup, Seventh Inning Fetch and Spikes Back – shockingly the last 3 went straight to video instead of theatres…
Snuffy was a Wooly Mammoth of Phylum Chordata, Family Elephantidae so he wouldn’t actually have arms to arm-wrestle. That wouldn’t probably disqualify him in any arm-wrestling competition rendering him the loser…
The Theo Fleury goal was actually Game 6 of the Calgary/Edmonton series back in 1991, one of the few times the MIGHTY Oilers have fallen – side note - thanks agin to Peter Pocklington…
And although “Waldorf” didn’t mention it on the podcast, I have seen him frequent the dancefloor to Nelly Furtado – Maneater…
[drum roll]
Blindside Winner: Waldorf J. Larkins
I have to go with “Statler” that soccer dog would win over the bball dog as bball dog would really have trouble with travelling calls on the hardwood and that would really hinder its performance…
Askmen.com agrees with “Waldorf” and has ‘N Sync winning the boyband battle with reasons like, “one of them dated Britney before she was bald and psychopathic” which is a very good point! However, it also states ‘N Sync had “excellent” videos going for them…
The fact that “Statler” couldn’t name a single Muppet and thought Fozzie was the guy from “Happy Days” leaves the jury no choice but to give this round to Waldorf…
2008 Blindside score: 5-3 David J. Larkins/Waldorf
That’s it, that’s all, you’ll know better for next time kids.
Swatter: To sooth the pain of getting whooped again by Larkins, I’ve added this for you.

Gentlemen,
Great job on the show and the switch to roman numerals.
Might I make a polite suggestion that you add a little ‘hype’ music for the start of the show and, possibly Blindside. Perhaps even to ring in a guest.
I must admit I never pegged larkins for Billie-Jean man, but who can explain true genius and what motivates it.
We also know now who keeps buying the new Tupac albums.
Your truly,
Dan Patrick
